Are you not finding what you are looking for?

There are certain limitations for public search sites (called IDX sites) meaning there are fewer search parameters allowed and a reduced number of data fields to search on. There is also a reduced ability to layer searches…and layering searches is really the way to get some accurate results…and don’t get me started on mapping.  Our MLS has a FABULOUS mapping function that is not replicated on IDX.

Frustrating.

If you need a more detailed search, the CVRMLS (RVA’s Multiple Listing Service) has a feature called a ‘Client Gateway’ that we can set up for you based on a very specific set of parameters.   Not only can it be set to show the properties that are AVAILABLE, but ones that are currently UNDER CONTRACT (an indicator of where the market is) AND those that have SOLD anytime within the past 5 years.  Having access to past sales data means understanding value trends at the most local level…that’s sometimes crucial when fine tuning your offer.
